unpackpics

Unpacks all encounter animations of a allpics file into a directory.

The first parameter must be the name of the directory in which the animations should be unpacked. The program creates the necessary directory structure automatically.

The second parameter specifies the filename of the PICS file to read. If the parameter is missing or is "-" then the input is read from stdin.

Usage

unpackpics [OPTION]... DIRECTORY [INPUT]

Parameters

-W, --width The animation picture width (Default: 96)
-d, --debug Shows stacktrace when an error occurs
-h, --help Display help and exit
-V, --version Display version and exit

Example

The following command unpacks the allpics1 file into a temporary directory.

unpackpics c:\pics1 c:\wland\allpics1

The program creates the c:\pics1 directory and creates numbered sub directories for each animation starting with 000. Each animation directory contains the base frame in 000.png and contains numbered sub directories for each animation frame set starting with 000. Each animation frame set directory contains the numbered frame pictures starting with 001.png and also contains an animation.txt file which contains on each line the delays and frame number to display. So this animation.txt files defines in which order and how fast the animation is shown.
